AI access
Turn on AI features, request access, and understand usage tokens.
AI features are off until you enable them, and — depending on your account — may need to be granted before the assistant becomes available.
Enable AI features
- Go to Settings → AI.
- Turn on Enable AI Features.
When AI is off, the AI tab is hidden from the editor. Turning it on brings the tab back.
Request access
If AI hasn't been granted to you yet, the AI panel shows a Request AI button instead of the chat:
- Click Request AI.
- Your request is submitted and shows as pending.
- Once it's approved, the assistant becomes available in the AI tab.
You only need to do this once; after approval the assistant is ready whenever AI is enabled in Settings.
Usage tokens
AI usage is metered with tokens. The editor shows your current balance, and a live counter reflects usage as you chat. If you run low, you can request more tokens from the AI panel; the request is reviewed and your balance is topped up once approved.
Tokens here are about AI usage, and are unrelated to the install tokens used by fleets to authenticate collectors.
