AI access
Enable AI features, request access, and understand usage tokens.
AI features are off until you enable them, and, depending on your account, access may need to be granted before the assistant is available.
Enable AI features
- Go to Settings > AI.
- Turn on Enable AI Features.
When AI is off, the AI button and the assistant panel are hidden in the editor.
Request access
If AI access has not been granted to your account, the AI panel shows a Request AI button instead of the chat.
- Select Request AI.
- The request is submitted and shows as pending.
- When the request is approved, the assistant becomes available in the panel.
You request access once. After approval, the assistant is available whenever AI is enabled in Settings.
Usage tokens
AI usage is metered with tokens. The editor shows your current balance, and a counter reflects usage as you chat. Starting a request requires a balance of at least 1,000 tokens. When the balance runs out, select Request Tokens in the AI panel. The request is reviewed, and the balance is increased after approval.
AI usage tokens are separate from the install tokens that fleets use to authenticate collectors.
